The insurance costs 7% of the total travel price and must be purchased no later than at the time of paying the deposit.

Most Engholm Travel AB (brand name EuropeanTours.se) tours go to countries within the EU, and are therefore covered by the Swedish social insurance system.
A basic travel insurance for the first 45 days is usually included in your home insurance if you are a Swedish citizen, but it only provides limited protection.
By purchasing an additional travel insurance at the same time you book your trip, you can enjoy more comprehensive coverage, including:
Trip cancellation protection
Compensation for replacement trips in case of illness or accident

When purchasing one of our package tours, the Swedish Travel Guarantee Act applies.
This means that if your trip is interrupted or canceled, compensation can be paid out from the travel guarantee fund.
The amount of the guarantee is determined by Kammarkollegiet (The Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency) based on how many group departures the tour operator arranges each year.
