A Winter Escape in the French Alps
High above the deep blue waters of Lake Geneva lies the beautiful Gavot Plateau, perched at 1,000 meters altitude. This vast alpine balcony offers the perfect gateway to explore the unspoiled Chablais Massif.
Our comfortable mountain hotel, nestled at the foot of the iconic Dent d’Oche near the charming village of Bernex, will be your base for the week. Far from crowded ski resorts and busy lift systems, this is authentic, peaceful mountain terrain — ideal for contemplative snowshoe hiking.
Each day, your experienced mountain guide leads you on a new off-trail adventure through forests, alpine pastures and panoramic ridgelines. You will learn about the geology, traditions and stories of the Chablais while enjoying breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, Lake Geneva and the surrounding Alps. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel to unwind in the spa — the perfect balance of activity and relaxation.
